Kid with Facepaint

Festivals, Fairs, Picnics & More!
In presentations led by energetic and knowledgeable naturalists, we encourage children and adults to see themselves as part of a larger system of natural life in which every organism, from mosquito to shark and flower to mushroom, plays an important part.

Our naturalists will introduce children and adults to a variety of our creeping, crawling and slithering co-workers, from tiny Pacific Tree Frogs to 14-foot-long Burmese Pythons. We'll discuss how they've adapted to their natural habitats and examine what role they play in the ecosystem.

Our presentation can be tailored to meet your event's theme and audience. Other topics and curriculum are available.

UPCOMING COMMUNITY EVENTS

Tree Frog Treks with San Francisco Park & Rec

Location: Glen Canyon Park

Tree Frog Treks has recently partnered with San Francisco Park & Rec and will be holding classes at Glen Canyon Park. Students will meet and greet live rescued reptiles and amphibians like Trucker the Tortoise, Neptune the Blue-Tongued Skink, and Stickum the Frog. They will learn how to think like a scientist by doing chemistry, physics, and science experiments. In addition, students will explore Glen Canyon with a trained naturalist armed with binoculars, dip nets, bug boxes, and a full helping of kid energy. Let's Get Out and Get Dirty! We are currently running two sessions this Fall and Winter.
