Spring Camp

Kids put on your explorer hats and old sneakers, and let's hit the trail for some Wild Science fun!
Get out and get dirty! From our base camp in Golden Gate Park (and the Bay Area Discovery Museum), we will hike outdoors, meet our live animal ambassadors, do hands-on activities; science, art, movement, and songs. Come out and get eye to eye and toe to toe with your favorite Tree Frog Treks animals, like Julie the Python, Savannah the Monitor Lizard, and Neptune the Blue Tongue Skink.
What's that you see, poking up through the ground - a root, a shoot, a tiny bud? Signs of new growth all around! Spring brings changes we can see, and in our backyard laboratory we'll create some science fun, mixing it up with chemistry! Water, water everywhere...hike through the muck and mud, dip your net and voila it's a discovery! The sun fuels up the earth, and brings about a new season, let's explore what more it can do and power up with an experiment or two! Trek and track the wild side that like to hide by your side, in the city. If we're lucky we'll see a hawk soar above, the footprints of raccoon and skunks, and maybe take a close look at salamanders, slugs and more! Spring camp is for children in pre-school through 5th grade.

Spring Camps Refund Policy
Our Spring Camps Refund Policy is as follows:
- Before Mar 1: Camp fee refunded less 10% administration fee
- Before Mar 15: Camp fee refunded less 50% administration fee
- On or After Mar 15: Camp fee is nonrefundable
