Pre-Teen/Teen Adventures
Get Out, Get Dirty, and Get Out of the City!
Climb aboard the Wild Science Wagon & let's go on an adventure! We will visit various locations throughout the Bay Area on day hikes and explorations, including one fun over-night camp out at the end of the week. Together we will observe nature, enjoy the outdoors, and investigate various science concepts! There is something for everyone on this adventure, so pack up your bags and get ready to GET OUT and GET DIRTY!
Camp will be from 9:00-5:00 p.m. and pick-up and drop-off will take place at Tree Frog Treks Frog Hall (2114 Hayes St.) unless otherwise specified. Enrollment is open to children entering 6th - 9th grades in the Fall of 2011. Here are the places we go:
Summer Session I: June 11th - June 15th (No camp on Monday)

Fees: $399 + $100 activity fee = $499 total
Summer Session II: August 13th - 17th

Summer Counselor In Training Program
Are you a teen between the ages of 14-17 who loves children, nature and animals? If so, we have a program for you!
At our Counselor in Training Program, teens will be trained in how to work with children, how to handle on animals, leadership and responsibility skills, and all the basics they will need to have a head start on one day leading a group of their own.
The cost of this program is $399 per week with the teen receiving a check for $200 at the end of the week. Teens can use Tree Frog Treks on future resumes and request recommendations for future employment.
Our Counselor in Training Program will be running at our Golden Gate Park Camp location from June 4th - August 17th. Sessions are one week long but you are more then welcome to sign your teen up for multiple weeks or even the whole summer! Check out the Summer Camp page here.
Teen Machine Adventures and CIT Refund Policy
Our Teen Machine Adventures Refund Policy is as follows:
- Before April 1: Camp fee refunded less 10% administration fee
- April 2 - May 15: Camp fee refunded less 50% administration fee
- On or After May 15: Camp fee is nonrefundable
