Teacher Trainings

Our teacher trainings are interactive, fun and educational seminars led by Tree Frog Treks' Head Frog and Executive Director Chris Giorni, who has more than 15 years of experience in teaching science to kids of all ages.

We'll engage teachers by demonstrating experiments and projects from Tree Frog Treks' curriculum, which focuses on experiential, hands-on science learning. We'll cover a broad range of topics in the life sciences (plants, animals and nature; recycling and decomposition; conservation biology), the physical sciences (simple machines; chemical reactions; states of matter) and earth sciences (geology of the earth; living in a sustainable world) plus many more.

In our trainings, teachers can develop projects to suit different curriculum, try out our experiments, and learn hands-on make-and-take classroom projects. Every faculty in-service, from one hour to a full day, includes written Tree Frog Treks curriculum.
