Spring Break camp 2017
spring is the perfect time to get out and get dirty - flowers are blooming, animals are active and nature is putting on a show! so put on your explorer hat, grab your binoculars and bug nets, and let's hit the trail for some science fun! Join us as we explore amazing places like sutro baths, aquatic park and many other natural wonders around THE CITY.
Spring is a wonderful time for nature in the San Francisco Bay Area- as the cold weather fades away, many of our local wildlife will begin to emerge from their winter hide outs and become active once again. Join our knowledgeable Naturalists as we explore the great outdoors in search of native snakes, lizards, frogs, salamanders, birds, and mammals! Maybe a coyote or fox will make an appearance on one our hikes! During each camp session, campers will meet live animals, perform fun experiments and build leadership and critical thinking skills through adventuring in nature with peers and instructors. Come meet Julie the Burmese Python, Charina the Rubber Boa, Neptune the Blue Tongue Skink, and Stickum the White’s Tree Frog - to name some of our nearly 100 Animal Ambassadors! We play games and tell stories to bring many unseen aspects of our urban habitat to life for our campers.
