Tree Frog Treks is dedicated to the well-being of animals and the importance of responsible pet ownership. Our adoption program not only provides loving homes for animals in need but also promotes education and awareness about the importance of conservation and respecting wildlife.

Each animal undergoes a thorough health assessment and behavioral evaluation to ensure they are ready for adoption and will thrive in their new environment.

Adopting an animal from Tree Frog Treks provides a second chance for animals that may have been neglected or abandoned, giving them the opportunity to live happy and fulfilling lives in loving homes. Secondly, it helps to reduce the demand for wild-caught animals as pets, which have detrimental effects on wild populations and ecosystems. Razorback musk turtle, “squirtle”

A longtime member of Tree Frog Treks, Squirtle is estimated to be around 40 years old and has been lovingly cared for throughout his life. Now, this sweet senior is looking for a calm, committed home where he can enjoy the retirement he deserves.

While he has already lived a long and full life, turtles like him are built for longevity—you can still expect 10-15+ more years together with proper care. Fully grown and very manageable in size, he will not get any larger, making him an excellent fit for someone prepared to provide consistent long-term care.

Care Requirements:

• An appropriately sized aquarium setup

• A dry basking area to rest and thermoregulate

• Proper heat, UVB lighting, and water quality maintenance

Corn snake (Albino), “jib jub”

Gib is a handsome 8-year-old albino corn snake with many great years still ahead of him. He came to us about 4 years ago, and has been one of Mr. Science’s personal animals in that span of time, meeting dozens of kids every week.

Despite this, Gib is a very active and curious snake, never shown any aggression, and will become more comfortable with consistent handling over time—but he'll be happiest with someone who appreciates him for the fascinating little snake he already is.

White’s tree frogs, “bat” (Right)

This popular trio has been with us for 9 years and are estimated to be around 11 years old. These goofy, lovable frogs have helped educate countless people over the years and are now ready to enjoy a well-earned retirement in a calm, loving forever home.

They are all male White’s Tree Frogs with incredibly mellow temperaments— chill, easy to handle, and enjoy taking life at their own pace. They would thrive with a knowledgeable amphibian keeper who understands tree frog care and can provide the comfort, consistency, and proper husbandry these senior citizens deserve.

We’re hoping to find someone who can give our beloved mascots the very best golden years possible. 💛
