Carbon Kids Care and Mr. Science Adventures

Join Mr. Science for a program of hands-on adventures! Meet Animal Ambassadors at Frog Hall, hop in the Green Machine van, and explore parks, wetlands, and even City Hall. From paddle boarding at Crane Cove to leading “Frog Mob” animal times, kids will learn, explore, and take action to help local wildlife thrive.

Schedule:

Day/Time: Thursdays from January 15th to March 26th 2026 from 3:45-6:15

Drop-off: 3:45-4:15 PM at Frog Hall

Pick-up: 6:00-6:15 PM at Holly Park Picnic Area

Ages & Group Size:

Open to students in 4th–8th grade

Group size: 8 - 10 students

Cost: $ 545

Program Overview:

Each Thursday, adventurers will:

-Meet Live Animals at Frog Hall before heading out.

-Travel in the Green Machine van with Mr. Science at the wheel.

-Explore Local Parks such as Holly Park, Glen Canyon, Heron’s Head Marsh, and Crane Cove.

-Lead “Frog Mob” Animal Times — bringing Animal Ambassadors into the community for hands-on education and outreach.

Special Experiences planned:

Water Adventures at Crane Cove

-Stand-up paddleboarding, boogie boarding, and kayaking.

-Stewardship projects to help local plants and animals thrive.

Civic Engagement activities:

-A special trip to Civic Center Plaza and City Hall to meet civic representatives and lead a Frog Mob animal time in the heart of San Francisco.
