"Trex” tyler

TREX Tyler has been a part of the TFT team since 2018. Starting as an assistant teacher, Tyler has worked all ends of the bay area over the years. In 2021, he began directing summer camp in Presidio Park and can’t wait to be back in nature this year. Raised by the east coast & inspired by the west, Tyler’s educational background in environmentalism and outdoor experience continues to bloom into some Wild Science!

When he isn’t stomping around Presidio Park, TREX is caring for his dog (Garbanzo!), snake (Plop!), or his 15 Goldfish (Goldy 1, 2, etc). He’s an avid gardener, hiker, and mineral collector/dealer during the TFT off season.
